Subject: Let's be the best GUI forum out there February 4th 2009, 8:36 pm

Hey what up guys as a user I love GGUI much better as a forum then RMD because of the enviroment and the friendly people in this GUI forum. I do not think RMD needs all that popularity it has because of those idiots there. They act like they are the gods and everything is low quality for them. So although I am not a admin I am begging you all to sign a petition and persue the admin to make this forum private and hard to get in like RMD and also to make this the most popular GUI forum out there. Also lets get a new look something that is better than RMD happy

there will always be leechers and that is why there are subscribers but even they can leech. But there is no full proof way

then the only way is to make it private and we everytime someone joins and they don post anything with in a caertain time they get booted. Whats the worst that can happen if this is private?

I gave Sbux the perfect opportunity to move GGUI to a new, paid, fully supported home.. He halfway accepted but then stepped down due to time.. I saw/see it as the perfect opportunity for both teams.. it's a shame it couldn't happen.

If it's open no one can really post their "NFR" stuff and if we want a place just to chill and share what we can share publicly, this place is good ennough for it.

This has been suggested before, butif I remember correctly (either that or it was like a dream or summat. Or maybe I was abducted surprised

)Sbux doesn't want to go the way of other forums and keep GGUI open to all. That's the whole point of this forum, and I think it works that way - if anything, making a forum 'hard' to get into (such as RMD) gives a forum a very hostile and negative image.

See, now the problem with exclusive forums is they fall apart after a while, or its hard to get enough activity. There's also a lot of banning going on, *hinting and being banned from somewhere for no reason*.

I'm all for making GGUI a great forum...but why do you come off as having this huge vendetta against RMD? It's kool to state your opinions but we don't need this kinda extra beef between the forums. I don't know what happened between some of the people in here and some fo the people at RMD but can we keep this focused on Galaxy Gui please. It's better for all.

I'm actually glad you brought up this topic now, I think we could use a few changes, traffic has been dead steady for the past few months, we need to expand

Wow guys, calm down with the whole calling out RMD and saying they suck.

I personally am still there (I'm surprised) I like jeebus and monstr, they are both pretty nice to me.
