OpenSUSE 11.0

Subject: OpenSUSE 11.0 July 8th 2008, 11:25 am

Well, after looking at alxmarcond's avatar (lol), I took a look at what opensuse 11 is.
It seems like a great linux distributions that I just might stick with.

Now why i wrote this topic, has anyone ever tried opensuse before/would they recommend someone else to use it? Also what's best, KDE4 or Gnome?

GNOME all the way imo, for me KDE has always been a memory hog and is extremely uncustomizable. good choice though, OpenSUSE is pretty nice. I have tried OpenSUSE (of course tongue

its one of my favourites and i use it almost every day)

Alright, when I get back in a week I'll give it a try. Looks pretty nice from what I've seen. Anyone have any idea if an Intel 3945 wireless card will work without having to download extra drivers?

yes, searched the forums and no ones had a problem with it, which means that it will most likely work seeing as its a pretty popular card. Your HP laptop is one of the ones that supposed to be fully supported, its a dv right?

mines a dv6626 ur was dvxxxx
