Apple released the Mac OS X 10.5.3 update today. The latest update to Leopard should appear in your Mac OS X Software Update.

Apple Releases Mac OS X 10.5.3 Macpri10

The 10.5.3 Update is recommended for all users running Mac OS X Leopard and includes general operating system fixes that enhance the stability, compatibility and security of your Mac.

Some of the highlights from the list of fixes include:

- Includes additional RAW image support for several cameras
- Addresses an issue with stuttering video and audio playback in certain USB devices
- Improves 802.1X (Wifi) behavior and reliability and when using Time Machine
- Includes fixes for Time Machine compatibility with Time Capsule
- Address Book now lets iPhone users sync their Address Book with Google Contacts

Yeah haha. and seriously, If you do an update to a new 10.5.* on a hackintosh, you might as well kiss it goodbye.. that version needs to be hacked first as well lol

^you can update.. they have guides on how to do it.. well on insanelymac, and from there to other places... it's been done successfully, but also i'm too lazy to go thru that now. tongue

anyway... no i mean the installation of 10.5.3 today... not for 10.5.2...
yea some people crash their systems because they don't know what they are doing, and most likely don't have a vanilla kernel.
