I was wondering if anyone here had some good vista visual styles or a site with a some.. dA has a few but not that many are good. I was also wondering how many of you use windowblinds, the only reason I've been avoiding it is because it is supposed to be a resource hog. So anyway I guess wb skins would help as well if it's recommended.
Thanks.

i'm guessing most of the people here use WindowBlinds, but there's also a few who use their own UXTheme.dll Patchers, and Styler, etc. It depends on the specs of your computer. If you have kind of a crappy computer, then it'll probably use a lot more resources. If your computer is like the Jesus of the digitals, then it works just fine.

Years ago, I would have agreed that Windowblinds was a big footprint. But it has very much improved over the years and runs smooth now. There are a few apps to replace Styler, FindeXer as QTTabBar & iBar, and others, still in development. Many nice Mac looking themes have been ported to Vista. Considering that Stardock is now leaning towards that OS and that shellstyles can not accomodate what this application can, I really see mo reason why anyone wouldn't give it a try. I for one, enjoy the fact, that I can change the fonts, colors, brightness & level of transparency of my skin. It also allows me to re-define title bar functions and roll-ups. You can even modify a skin and save it as a substyle. Lastly, you don't need a patch to replace system files because Windowblinds is Microsoft approved, has been build around it and they have been using it for many moons...
