I use AIMP its excellent, sound quality is better than most, and has a lot of add on's like a very good equalizer, sound widening capability and the GUI is quite good

I don't think I've used one I like. I use iTunes due to my iPod, but good god it's awful on vista.

i agree with alex, songbird has evolved alot since the first betas came out... i believe their first icon was a green spotted egg .. and now they have a shining bird singing
