How many times have you gotten a BSOD?

i've had every commercialized version of windows and i never had a BSOD, some consider it lucky, i consider it to be careful of my PC's content

Had about 10-15 when I first built my computer, turned out one of the RAM sticks was faulty . confused

But none since then, fortunately . wink

Never had a BSOD on any computer I've ever owned...but I've had my share of KPs when I first installed Leopard. Nothing lately as the system is completely stable.

Around 9 times I would say but that was a long time ago, most of them happened when I was using XP Home Ed.

just got another one... vista is completely unstable even after a billion days of devel T_T and its not my computer because everything else runs fine (even compiz with all maxxed out setting which consiquetially if u have blurr on ur screwed because it blurs every element.) so suck it vista lovers! i just have vista for games btw not for general usage tongue

Too many times :'(. Considering MS said BSOD were not apparent in XP or Vista ( I heard somewhere) its a shame. I'm on vista atm, awaiting windows 7 or getting a mac... in time, in time wink

Maybe some with windows xp, appearently crappy chipset drivers by nvidia.. On vista or windows 7 i haven't got any of them...

And as for macos, i don't get that pretty kernel panic screen, but i get the ugly hackintosh one, which is a few terminal lines on the screen and nothing working till a restart is done...

i meant... i had one with iPC because itunes 8 crahsed , and had some problems with using firefox or safari as i used Itunes8 for example

When I had a PC, I got about 5-10 lol, most of it was due to Gaming with Vista though, XP was great smile

throw your computer out of the window LOOOOL, i've got vista on a crappy 5 year old pc and it's rocking here everyday, haven't got any of those BSOD's yet.. and i'm running the Ultimate "flavour" tongue

lol. a flavour of windows xD i might just install XP tongue

non of the games i play need vista anyway... plus xp is less of a hassle to skin. But no soundcard drivers for XP on my computer >:0

what's the sound chip manufacturer ?? i'm pretty sure u might find it out on the manufacturers website tongue
