Ok, this Maybe sound very dumm questions to ask, but here: Are most of deskmodders now all using XWD or changing to ( before that using other docks) XWD . What so good of it till it seem to attract so many people into it? Sorry, I know the comparison pros and cons of DOCKs had been discuss like millions of times here or other forums, but recently the skins of XWD seem to be getting more and more ( more attractive also) force me like change to it also. Currently I am using OD, the quality and performance look good enough, and I try XWD before, it just seem a-okay. This situation very similar to WB and VS before, where you can see now people more in to WB skinning where else VS are dead. So, if XWD is so that good people may all focus on XWD skinning only. At least, the current situation here is like this. Thanks P/S: This thread is not purpose to start a docks comparison war. So, if free just help me with my uncertainty. Thanks.

For quality I prefer objectdock.. for docks I like the XWD but am not changing to it anyways. So my advice is : decide what is important for you.. and choose.. and also the effets (when zooming in and out) in OD looks much better.

OD is much more stable at this point and you can use drawers, tabbed docks... XWD generates reflections, you can move the icon's position, stacks are different too. I use both and quite frankly, my fave was RK but 3 dock apps is just too much Give XWD a try and see for yourself

I use both but I really prefer XWD these days.
Both have their pros and cons, the main reason I use XWD is because features like built in stacks and reflection for the dock icons which you cant do in OD (stacks with docklet)
Also XWD is very very customizable, it has many options where you can adjust about everything there is to adjust on a dock.
I agree with Hisoka about the zoom in/out on OD, is much smoother plus OD can do tabs which XWD cant.
And finally, OD consumes less resources than XWD.

I use both OD and XWD also, but in XWD you can do so much. XWD works closely to the Mac docks, or at least I think so You don`t have to waste your time reflecting every icon in your dock like in OD, because in XWD it reflects the icons for you and in XWD the icons are more HQ for me.
..But OD is better with the zooms and the bounce effect.

@Stylz Delete the folder in program files
As everyone else said; OD is all-round better program with better animations, more stable, uses less resources, etc. But the shiny reflections in XWD dock attracts everyone to it

I want to use XWD cause of reflections, but until they add the feature to put the dock at the top of the screen, I won't be installing it.

I got same feeling as parry do, I think the XWD are very good since it very mac customize feel, got some unique feature, but some of it lack functionality really bother me a lots. Jaz and guys here made lot of nice port of skin for it. Gratefully the XWD still continue improving, cross my finger hoping it better.
