im not sure but right now it just looks so plain. i dont think you would see it on a dock. maybe add some personality to him. some shadowing (light shadowing tho please)

oo, ok, and as far as the detail goes... i was planning to make versions of this guy. For example with glasses, hat, different expressions and so on. This is just the base.

its seems really white washed out, like a glowiness is washing out any detail. its super cute, otherwise.

thnks, and ye. theres way too much glow... ill reduce that.

Great work! add some shadows inside his ears and also down his mouth. and make it more rounded by adding shadows and lights

im not sure that the drop shadow coming down from the white of his eyes is the best idea :/ makes it look a little weird.

Oops, i was just experimenting and I accidentally left the drop shadow. Anyways, does the overall icon have some more depth; Does it look any better?

For hair try to find hair brushes on deviantart it may help.. but please include the one in the preview withought any changes in the zip file.

Oh and also try to make mouth darker.. if you put this on dock it wont look so good.

ye, its hard to see the mouth when it on the dock. Im working on it. Do you know how i can make it darker, without ruining the flow?

If you can just draw it again in black and then change the opacity to get what you want...
