New Hosting - We need your Support!

We have been talking about this on and off and I've finally made the decision.
Galaxy GUI desperately needs a new host. I know many of you have become attached to the community as it is, but frankly, our current host is greatly limiting the amount this site can expand and what we can do with it.

By moving to a new host, we would be able to expand this site even more, making Galaxy GUI an even better site than it already is. We would have total freedom over the site, and not be under the control of a free forum host. In case some of you didn't know, we are being hosted on a free host, forumotion.

However, for this project, we really need the support of this community, you guys. As you might imagine, doing something on this scale would require some funds, which Galaxy GUI is out of right now. Please, help us to make this change! It would be beneficial to the site.

The only down side to this would be that there is a 90% possibility that we would be starting over, I don't think this is a problem though. If we could make 30,000 posts in a year on a new community it should be at least 3 times easier with a dedicated and supportive community like we have now. And a quick note to all of you subscribers, you will still have your current status/subscription, just be sure to register with the same username.

Now, who thinks they can help? Any donation, even as little as $5 is crucial to this being possible. We need a bare minimum of at least $72, if we could get more than that - fantastic! This is the minimum we need to stay hosted for 1 year. The 2 year price is $120, let's see if we can possibly make it that far!

We're even closer now
Seems like we can easily making it to $70 with the support of the great people at this community so I'm shooting for $120 (our optimal goal, for 2 years of hosting) now!

We came up with $89 extra for hosting so I'm now leaning to towards purchasing IPB if anyone else can still help out with donations! I've found a killer skin for us, and IPB would make things much easier and better for us!

We would need about $170 total and have $87 so far. Please, if anyone still can, we would really benefit from anymore donations smile

We've already gotten halfway there!

We already have 2 years dedicated hosting purchased and are just in need of some forum software
