Recently, I tried a hackintosh. I plugged in my extern. hdd and used it as a time machine backup. Since installing windows back on, its not recognized in explorer and the auto run isn't working. So I went into device manager and its partition style is GUID Partition Table (GPT). Wondering if there's anyway I can fix this, since I need to use it again.
Any help much appreciated

Maybe a mac would recognize it? Maybe if you can get it working on a mac you can re-format...

do what boyofwonder said, connect it to a mac and partition it as FAT, then go on windows and make it NTFS or whatever
