I love the new look!
...
On macs The new windows look really doesn't go and the tabs at the top don't work with visual styles/windowblinds. I really want to use it, 'cause the new features are awesome (if a little slow in my little laptop), but it's just so ugly... *le sigh*

I'm using it right now on mac, and it seems to be faster and more responsive. I also think the addition of coverflow and top sites is very cool

Didn't quite like the tabs at the top, since visual styles don't play nice with it, works well with aero tho. Too chrome-ish to me, doesn't look 'apple' enough I feel anymore. But putting appearance behind, its a fast, and talented browser. Its taken the place of Firefox as default browser for the time being

Apple overuse coverflow WAY too much
I've tried it, but i still wouldn't switch from Firefox

Why all the hate for CoverFlow? Admittedly, it's pointless in Finder, but at least it actually has a use in Safari (and iTunes - yay for shinies )

Bah, I'm not a big fan of firefox for mac so I've sticked to safari . I do think though, that the tabs at the top are VERY annoying since they can get VERY large and are right next to the window buttons. I think they should have actually followed chromes example, and made the tabs smaller even with 2 windows, also move the away a bit from the buttons on the window
Still have yet to try it on windows, im gonna go ahead and download right now

their cover flow crap is just a piclens plugin that looks like its been jizzed on... its a totaly rip of chromium and i wouldnt be surprised if apple didnt steal a little ideas from xD. most visited sites AND top bars? come on apple. lets be a little creative ^_^

meh... its a nice attempt at saving space i guess but with aero it just looks horrible... from the screenshots of OS X it looks like crap too xD but no worries. we should be seeing some greasekit scripts soon to fix this idiocy xD

in safari 4 = to open external links in tabs rather than windows: - Code:
-
defaults write com.apple.Safari TargetedClicksCreateTabs -bool true and to have the old safari 3 look with the tabs at the bottom: - Code:
-
defaults write com.apple.Safari DebugSafari4TabBarIsOnTop -bool FALSE
enter these in terminal in OS X. sorry windows people.

I hated the tabs at the top SO much, I hope they scrap that idea before the final release.. or at least make it nicer
