For some reason when I turn on my windows laptop, it wont show in my leopard network. I can only connect to it manually through the IP address.
The laptop's running vista by the way. Is there something I need to set in the network preferences to make it visible in leopard?

nope, just check the computer's ip, and in safari write smb:\\(Your Computers IP)

thats actually something that people got pretty pissed off about. You've made sure to set all of your leo settings for windows network ect ect? follow this tut and you should be set

unfortunately i never got it to show up, and i got rid of leopard some time ago lol
