Not bad.... I think it needs a different font, the forum markers need to be different, especially change the colour. Pink on grey makes me eyes bleed  The background's a bit too distracting, also... But not bad

One of the basic apple ones.. or tahoma.. veranda.. etc
Also .. not wanting to be nasty.. but the colours and the size of the table.. it just gives me a migrane.. i personally dislike it.. ALL..

I agree with changing the fonts, keep a consistent and simple look. It also look as if you've gone a little overboard with the noise on the sides so try those again. Keep tweaking it, the premise is nice
