Name in Menu Bar [Mac]

Regular Visitor From : England OS :  Leopard 10.5.6

I've seen people have their names in the Menu Bar, besides the Time, Spotlight, Battery etc.
How do you do it? I've looked in Account settings to see if theirs an option to show in the menu bar but can't find anything thumbs down
