What does everyone (Mac users) use to change the theme of your Mac, the menu bar, I only know of ShapeShifter, is that it?

for 10.5.x youll have to wait for Facade to come out. You can use something like the versitas suite to change some stuff but in the end just sit tight untill Facade comes out. Shapeshifter was for 10.4.x

But how do people using 10.5.x have custom themes already, do they do it manually? If so how?

Could anyone tell me before I go ahead and try manually installing a Theme, what should I backup if anything goes wrong on my Mac?

Could anyone tell me before I go ahead and try manually installing a Theme, what should I backup if anything goes wrong on my Mac? u have those instructions on readme's.. but anyways it's something like this :
from veritas suite beta :
.for safety backup these files
extras/extras2.rsrc in /System/Library/Frameworks/Carbon.framework/Versions/A/Frameworks/HIToolbox.framework/Versions/A/Resources1/ and SArtfile.bin in /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/CoreUI.framework/Versions/A/Resources2/
ps : don't be affraid.. i don't have a real mac and it worked flawlessly... i'm just getting some kernel panics here and there ... mostly at boot f.e.
