yes... but not good... could we get one unified set maybe? so that PM and profile ect buttons are the same as new topic and add reply buttons?

How will going private make us more popular? That doesn't make sense. I'm not sure why everyone's always raving on about making this a better place, when to be honest, it's already a good forum. We're all having fun here, what's the point in changing, and who are we changing for? We'll only be incorporating the imperialism and aristocracy of other forums.

True to an extent, but the grey needs to go, it's BOOOORING!

Also the pm,profile,ect.. buttons are inconsistent with the rest of the website, we don't need a complete overhaul, just a few tweaks. happy

@Mitch: personally for me. the way i see it, we already ARE the best GUI site out there. people just dont know it yet. really for me and i think most other people this thread isnt exactly wow this place sucks this is how to make it better, its more of a WOW i love this place heres an idea to make me jizz my pants LONGER xD

anyhow. Private is a no go and i dont care who says its a good idea. bad idea. bad bad bad. as signified by RockMyDesk.

The structure of this forum makes sense, public but with a touch of private with the Subscribers sections

that is a good thing tho because we can share stuff knowing that only our friends with get their hands on it and wont release it else where.

ahh rockmydesk, they sent me an invitation so i registered and then 5 days later i got an email saying that i was inactive so they banned me LOL, they didn't even send me a conformation of registration in the first place :/

anyway, i think GGUI is awesome smile

one suggestion, i think a subscription should be awarded monthly to a member who's contributed a lot during the month etc, giving users a bigger incentive to release stuff here if you get me?

still, i have some icons that i will be releasing here, and only here so stay tuned smile

It's something highly experimental. For the time being i've made it blend in with the colors of the forum and at least it's not a banner ad tongue

Sorry for it, but as you know we don't make enough revenue to support the site (we still do pay for the domain and banner ad removals, which is only available through the forum host, making it highly overpriced) so this is a way to make up for it.

Hope you guys don't mind too much, and if you do, perhaps it'd be better to have banner ads like on macthemes? Throw out any suggestions wink
