Windows 7 is coming up real soon... The full version not the beta I mean. Any themes for that yet? I hope some of you geniuses get working on that.... It would be really awful to leave these awesome modifications we do on XP and move to a boring stock Microsoft Windows 7 GUI...

There is that funny thing in between XP and 7 called Vista, you know To which customizing carried on, just not so much 'cause it's super hard And I've already seen a couple of visual styles for 7, so no doubt it'll continue

Yea... but that funny thing in between called vista was a waste of time and money... The worst OS I have ever used... On the other hand, even the stock looks for 7 are good, and most importantly, its faster than XP.... Vista was like an old woman with botox...

Vista isn't that bad. I use it all day every day without any problems. Yes there's quirks, but that's Windows. Even XP has them.

Yeah, truly. I'm running Windows 7 now and the only thing that impresses me is the speed it provides. It seems like I'm running Vista in XP LOL! That old woman with botox is hilarious

As a deskmodder, I'd still prefer XP though

Damn sheet guys i was testing the "7" 2 days ago, it was beta but a lil better than the beta from microsoft site, because my friend got it from mcsoft company. THAT KICK ASSES! running with a sucky pc works better than XP, it counts better the windows, they prepared to use 16gb ram max(btw. XP runs max 3,2gb) So, guys... i cant wait!

Seriosly.. it depends doesnt it.. because theyre going to have to wait until se7en is released because windows always do those last minute mods which render many modding programs renderles .. it cant be released until 2010.. unless they mean its being released for the BetaV

Yeah, totally agree with you. Even if WB does release, it might be just BETA. Will WB have the feature to change the toolbar for 7? That might be useful too. Hoping if the release date will be earlier. Couldn't wait until my SPM though =S

windows 7 ALMOST trumps ubuntu 9.04 in speed tests.. that means that my dear linux is being caught up to. But windows 7 still lacks my beastly 3.57 boot up time on fedora counting bios.. no memory checks
Themes for windows 7 atm consist of changing the colour of the windows and the wallpaper. kinda like those themes that OEM's would include with XP.
uxtheme.dll is still there which means its still crackable which means that themeing IS possible. But im not ganna try it xD if your desperate enough try using the vista uxtheme.dll patcher on win 7
