I'm not a great lover of the forum at the moment, although it could be a lot better with some polishing up. I guess I don't see the problem with doing a whole redesign as long as that design is kept for a suitable amount of time. And if there's a better prize. I mean, $11 is a regular 6 months subscription, at least do an unlimited premium one. The winner is giving you a whole website design

cheap usually gets you something....cheap. thats just how it is. unless you have someone specific, who is a pro, who has done stuff like this before, who volunteers their time...but an $11 contest? bad idea.

First of all that's insulting to members that submitted as it highly suggests they made cheap submissions so far. But I agree the prize should be more, so I've made it an unlimited subscription
And second of all, we don't make hundreds of dollars of revenue on this site (do you see any ads?) to be able to afford a profession design. And this is supposed to be a community project, hence the competition.
