I'm working on a wallpaper, so far so good, and is only a quick one didn't take me long, but on my Gradient background there appears to be lines which ruins it a bit, is there a way to fix this in Photoshop?

No I've been messing around with different Image Quality's but it's just the same, its a real shame too because this is the only thing wrong with it
Just incase, what are the best settings for a new Wallpaper in Photoshop?

I usually start off with a 2560x1600 pixel blank document @ 72 dpi. This way you could later resize it to support more resolutions.
I used to save them in JPG at highest quality, but started using PNG - looks better

Yeah PNG is the best imo too, i'll try your resolution, I was using 1440 x 900 to fit my MacBook Pro, but good idea about later resizing them
EDIT: What does dpi stand for?

You can also crop off parts of the sides to make fullscreen versions later when you're working with the larger resolution. Start off with 2560x1600, crop off some of the sides and you already have 1600x1200 fullscreen

Maybe someone else will be able to help out and DPI is dots per inch - but I think I mixed that up with printer settings lol. In Photoshop its pixels per inch

To remove (or at least make them less visible) you need to change to colour mode to 32bit. Makes a pretty big file, but gets rid of yer lines
Nice wall btw
