Does anyone know if a jailnreak for it is coming soon or anything?! I saw on a youtube video to jailbreak ipod touch 2g's with 2.1 firmware and i cant find it anywhere. someone help! crying

Oh, and don't even try anything posted on youtube, it's fake. confused

The wait might be longer that a month, perhaps a couple of months. Right now the dev teams top priority is the iPhone 3G unlock, once that is done a 2G jailbreak is to be expected

Anyhowdy, does anyone think it would be a bad idea to update to 2.2? Surely they'd start working on 2.2 jailbreak when they get round to it...? confused

but they say not to use quickpwn if you have an iphone 3g and want to wait for the unlock.

though, i've heard people's ipod's freezing during updating of the actual firmware and forced to restore.

I'd say that once they got around to a 2G jailbreak that they would work on the 2.2 firmware...
