Getting rid of window borders?

I'm New

Hey guys,

I'm currently using this visual style and I'm trying to get rid (or just make it 1px wide) of the black border around the windows. I've tried to edit the images (using reshacker) and trimming the black area down and replacing with the transparent colour, but it just ends up showing up as white.

Any way I can reduce the width of the images used for the left/right/bottom borders?

You cant change it to 0 without editing the registry and im not sure what key it is that controls that specific function so heres how to get it down to 1px

for Vista:
Right click
Personalize
Window Colour and Apperance
Advance
Under Item go to Active Window Border and set to 1
Under Item go to Inavtive Window Border and set to 1
Okay
Apply

XP:
Right click
Preferences
Apperance
Advance
Under Item go to Active Window Border and set to 1
Under Item go to Inavtive Window Border and set to 1
Okay
Apply

I'm New

Both active/inactive are set to 1 already. =O

o.O um... are you in vista or XP?

I'm on XP.

The visual style itself has about a 3px black border (as I said I tried to reshack the images to get the border to be smaller, but no luck).
