Regarding DeskVibe

Subject: Regarding DeskVibe November 8th 2008, 4:12 pm

Some of you might be frustrated or just wondering, what the **** is going on with DeskVibe? Well, this thread will answers your questions.

DeskVibe was supposed to be a continuation of Galaxy GUI, but after strong support for keeping Galaxy GUI since all of your posts, users, etc would be gone, it will no longer be a forum.

What will DeskVibe be then? Well, after thinking for a long while, an idea popped into my head - I found out about pligg (which is kind of like digg) and thought it would be really interesting to make a digg like Customization News Site.

The site would have user submissions which will then get voted up to most popular (like on digg). There could be either releases posted (such as icons, wallpapers, themes, etc) or Customization News (such as the release of a new program used for deskmodding, etc). It would give promotion for other sites while at the same time building up a big community.
