help with some effects in photoshop

can anyone help me with making text look lik that CS3? im working on a CS4 one and that is the only type of glass looking text i can get to look god in my dock

That icon is one of my favourites, just a shame it os only 128.png

To get your text like that, (roughly)
Type "CS3" in Myriad Pro (Semi-bold perhaps?)
Put opacity at 100%, fill at about 5%
Gradient overlay, white to transparent, top to bottom, maybe 20-ish%
Drop shadow black, angle 90, Distance 1, Spread & Size 0, Opac. 15?
Inner shadow white, normal, 90 Distance 1, Spread & Size 0, Opac. 20?

Very rough guide, off the top of my head, should help wink

well its not as glossy or w/e (not exactly sure wut it's missin) and looks fine in PS but wen i use it in my dock i cant even see it

cool thats so much better. i jus gotta mess with it a lil to get it 2 fade at the bottom, then ill release it, but can u remove the PSD link plz since i already got it?
