ok... hmmm... whats the string for the finder icon in the bar? is there a way that you could edit it (im assuming mac has some sort of registry editor type thing seeing as its Unix) to reflect a different path for the finder icon? or try changing the actual icon

Weird...what do you have panther tiger...i have leopard so...maybe the string is not correct...show me a picture of the dock...

hmm I know theres this thing called hide when you right click the finder icon.. does that possibly have anything to do with it?

no. alls that does is hide all windows associated w/ the program. its a way of cleaning ur desktop w/out seeing the windows or closing them

you can ask someone on the forums for like a file you can run that someone made that enters some terminal commands that fixes it instead of the archiving thing

Look under /system/library/coreservices
And drag the finder icon back to the dock.

ya if u drag that there u still have the solid unmovable 1 and the 1 u dragged is jus lik an alias so ill have 2

@SbuxBlaze.. Hide hides the open screens related to that Application, not the Icon itself..
