What exactly is it? Could you buy one and hook it up to your monitor and run Leopard on it and use it as a normal Mac computer or is it something like an external hard drive and something that can be used as a home theatre?

its an ultra portable full CPU that u just connect a mouse Monitor and keyboard to. Really, u shouldnt buy one unless u plan on moving around a lot and dont have a laptop and dont want the hassle of a laptop and a desktop. but then u need to be able to be sure that where ever your going u have a mouse and a keyboard and a monitor or projector. my school has one that teachers use when the need to give presentations in other rooms instead of carrieing a laptop they have this little Mac Mini which looks like a box and they just hook up a USB remote and a projector. Home theater would be an excelent use of it.

If you want to save $400 and get 1/2 the speed of a MacBook you can buy one. otherwise, i wouldnt recommend it unless you're going to be using it for email, internet, music

@SbuxBlaze - You've pretty much summed it up mate. Just BYODKM...bring your own display, keyboard, and mouse.
