A thread for Sony PSP, not Paint Shop Pro
So who has one?
And who mods/hacks it?

What exactly do you want to do with it? If you want to run custom firmware so you can play homebrew games and apps you will need a pandora's battery.

Google is a good start.
You will need to buy a Pandora's Battery but you will also need to make a magic memory stick first...
Like I said. Google. And Youtube.

If you have an original psp with a low enough firmware you dont need a p battery but i have used one with no problems.

I made the mistake of upgrading the official firmware all the time. I'm waiting for mine to come in the post...
Pandora's battery is safe, but it is best to know exactly what you are doing.

Yep got a Psp slim modded and running 4.01 M33-2. Modding a Psp is not all that difficult as long as you follow and understand the instructions properly.

Pandora's battery? Magic memory stick? Sounds like a medieval quest.

I'm running on plain 3.71m33. I use it for emulators, I haven't put any themes or apps on it. I will probably upgrade soon and stick a load of stuff on it. Currently on a 4gb card with about 1.5 free space I have been playing a lot of GTA VCS lately. I thought LCS was awesome but its crap compared to VCS Imo. lol.

I bought the battery. I wasn't going to hack my original one.
I've been playing Guitarway to Heaven Amplified. AKA guitar hero for psp

I have the battery that came with it and I bought a modded pandora's battery online. You only need it to "unlock" the PSP.
