he guys.
i was wondering if we could use a software to apply .png filkes to Xp.
.ico format is of small size....i was wondering if we could without editing .ico files...directly apply .png files to windows Xp icons....maybe resource hacker ?

i think you can resize your icons to 48px if this could help, but still u need to convert to ico.

You can apply png files with Microangelo On Display, I'm not sure about changing size (I have "free" version so maybe I don't have that feature) but you can check Link, IconTweaker and IconPackager. Hope this helps
