I wanna learn photoshop

I'm New OS : Leopard

i was looking if anyone could help me learn photoshop and make awesome wallpapers and stuff like everyone here does, am so jealous xD

I know the very good "School of Photoshop" from Tutorial 9. I recommand you to start at the beginning (pre-school level) and you will learn quickly all the base of Photoshop.

if u use the pen tool u might as well learn illustrator seeing as then your images are infinantly expandable? after u get moderatly aquainted with photoshop remember to go on deviantart and look up space tutorials, fire tutorials, explosions, effects ect. u can learn a lot that way. also www.tutorialized.com is a GREAT resource

There are a load of good tutorials online, some pretty spectacular Photoshop specific sites too. But I find, going into help (F1) and learning all the shortcuts helps too, saves time and productivity. happy

But if you want more than the basic video tutorials they provide you will have to become a paid member. If you want to learn photoshop in others ways try messing around in the program learning from the mistakes you make is one of the best ways to learn how to use design software. wink

at least under releases or something for people to release tutorials on various things, e.g. customization, photoshop, inkscape ^_^, mobile help, web help, application help ect. i think it would be a nice addition to the site and also a good place for a lot of people to become more active and share knoledge wink

theres no real defined way to make an AWESOME banner u know? just combine a bunch of tutorials relevant to what u want it to look like. in another thread u said u like to draw? the draw out the banner, scan it into inkscape or something and trace it with the pen tool and bam u have an awesome banner wink

Put the section under General because its not directly customization wink

but its there! go post!!! you can also post ones that arn't your so long as u give credit of course wink
