I dont know if you've already heard of this or not, but I found this amazing program called Desktop Effects, see the site here: http://www.desktopfx.net/

There is a trial the follows your mouse
A Wallpaper Changer
An option that lets you put a photo slideshow with fading transitions as your wallpaper
Video Wallpaper
Make your desktop a scribble pad and draw on it with your mouse

I have heard of somethng similar before but I personally wouldnt get.

I can remember trying one for xp, had loads of effects like guns, paint balls etc.
