RAM Prices please...

Hey everyone!
I finally decided to upgrade my ram to 2GB!!!!!!
COOL!
Anyway... there is one thing RAM over here, 1GB costs 13,500RS (a.k.a. $135), getting 2GB will cost 1GB*2 (27,000~270$)
So how much is ram over there?
Is it like how much i pay here?

it all depends on the company. for example. 2 gb ofRAM for macbooks thru apple is a few $100 but if i go to Circuit City and get a differentbrand it will cost me $40. u jus gotta search around

Is 1GB good enough to make advanced flash and do photoshop stuff?

well my macbook only has 512 and runs photoshop almost perfect. but a little laggy due to the fact that i keep lik 6 apps open at once so w/ jus AIM, IE, and Photoshop on 1GB u should be fine

well. just make sure u baance it out. for example: macbook has 2 RAM spots and holds 2 GB, so if u want 1 GB its recomenved 2 get 2 512 MB sticks-NOT just a 1GB stick. idk how it works w/ PC tho

$150 for 1GB of RAM? Where the hell are you buying from, I can get a stick of RAM thats 2GB for $50 that fits in my Laptop.

In my country (wiki), the taxes are very very very VERY High.
The taxes are so much that a wii costs 70,000RS (around 650-700$). An iPod Touch costs 65,000RS for the 32GB one(550-650$)
Everything is too expensive here. You get the idea.
