[WIP] GGUI EXCLUSIVE ICON

Hey just made this for the BEST forum site EVER happy

!! Please suggest some improvements so I can pimp it up a little bit more then upload it. And should the final one be with the platform or without it? The Following Images are in the process from before to after: click the images for a higher quality view.

looks amazing happy

i tried to make one a while ago and it turned out shizz tongue

this looks good but look at the lower right hand corner and then also at the upper left hand corner. I can see where you tried to edit the nodes to make the perspective on the rounded square. If you can do this instead of node editing as it turns out something much much smoother.

deselect the path and go to the rectangular marquee tool. right click and hit free transform. Right click again and hit perpective. Then drag the upper corners in to add a really nice smooth perspective on the shape wink

ZERO node editing happy

Other than that this looks really nice. Id be interested in seeing the PSD for this.

hmmm i did use marqueee tool :p but not ur steps so ima try that...ii thanx man

aight . Maybe you used skew? or warp? lol.. idk so many options in photoshop its hard to always use the right one :/

damn i wish i can use wrap it would be awesome but i don have cs4 i have 7 (ehhh)

ah. warp came in CS2 or 3 methinks wink

wrap is CS4 tongue

two VERY different things. both very usefull. i have seven on my laptop tongue

OCD: Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. It's a mental problem where you get really freaked out by things that are messy, or things that aren't straight, or you wash your hands every minute, things like that.
That's the official meaning, but you know. It gets used for a lot less extreme things lol

Such as getting slightly annoyed by icons that have been badly edited wink

I wish i could help you with the pillow... ive got some ideas but i have no idea how to implement them :/
