Shell replacement

well first of all i havent been on in awhile because i moved to hawaii. (Maui) and computer took awhile to get here. so thats that.

Ive been getting interested in these windows shell replacements like the following:

so with that in mind i was thinking if we could make our own shell replacement =O

just an idea.

It would be possible, but we would need a large number of people to get together and work on it

Ah wow, you moved to Hawaii :O. Where was you livin' before? Sounds like a big life change there, hope you enjoying the hot weather wink

I'm New From : Yorkshire OS : Vista Ultimate, Win 7.

A shell replacement is a big job, that needs highly experianced programmers.

Even with that team it will take months, ifnot years until a working interface would begin to appear.

I know a few people in the Cairo Shell team, they're top level programmers and look how long it's taking them.
