First, I really like the new holiday banner. Ummm... When I click the banner, it opens up a new tab and then loads the GGUI homepage. I know it should go the homepage but not in another tab. Just wanted to let you know.

For me it opens in a new window. Maybe you need to verify the preferences of your browser ?

- Being honest, a flash banner like above, ie. Moving content. Is too distracting from the website.
A banner is an important feature, and should catch attention from users, but it shouldn't grab there attention when they're attemping to view the site's content.
(may I have the PSD from the actual banner, to design a holiday one.) It true that it distracting from the main site, I passed an hour looking at that banner and being amaze of it moving lol.

I didn't save the fla. so i have to redo it ,but i'm going to see if it will let me redirect instead of using the geturl function. It should be fixed later today when I get off work.

hmm its weird. This is the action script involved in linking with flash:
this.onRelease = function(){ getURL("https://galaxygui.forumotion.com"); }
By default flash should navigate to the link in the same window. To open in a new window you would have to add ,"_blank" after the url. So honestly I don't know whats causing it to open a new tab. I'll see if I can figure it out just give me till the end of the day.

It does open it in a new window/tab for me, I'm not sure what is up with that. For now, if it is really that much of a problem for you, can't you just click to home icon for now please if you wish to return home?

it's less than 90 kb, even on a slow computer it should load instantly. Try clearing your browser's cache.
