Avedesk PidlShortcut

Regular Visitor OS : Windows Vista Home Premium

Hey folks! smile

What codes do I type in the docklet properties so that the docklet displays the number of files I have in a certain folder. I want to do it to my Wallpapers folder.

P.S. I'm on Vista Home Premium.

Try this: %f%r without the space
or %n

nope still nothing. i don't know if this is any help but, the shortcut is a folder. i noticed they have different commands from my Drive C shortcut.

these are the available codes and the one's with the numbers end to %267

i had this problem too
becuase the last one was my computer probably u have to drag say my pcitures folder to the place where it says enter the folder u want if that make sense. If u need help i can help u through msn or teamviewer. My msn is kflakes15@yahoo.com

I know how to make the shortcut, I just can't get the right codes for it to display the number of files I have in a folder.

Randomus says it's a bug with Vista.

Randomus says it's a bug with Vista.

OH. It might have something to do with the version of AveDesk you're using, which is it?

I'm reading after searching on google that it is a feature not working with Vista. Which is really dumb. First thing that pops in my head is "Why release for Vista when all features of Avedesk do not work?" Stupid. I still love Avedesk though. tongue

No, it WORKS with vista. I had the exact same problem. I believe I downloaded Avedesk 1.4 to get it working wink

That one was working with the labels for me. See what happens if you try 1.3, even though its not the vista build

Confirmed here too. Does not work. Weird, because some of the other sub labels work but the main one you want to work doesn't. Like %u works as a sublabel, and a couple of others do too.It's just goofy! Darn that Andreas. sad

Just set it as the sublabel and it will work!
