Moderator Application Thread

This is the official moderator application thread. We will be needing to fill up to 2 moderator positions. If you think you're good for the job, answer the questions below and reply to this thread.

1. Why do you want to be a moderator?
2. Do you have any previous experience?

1. Why do you want to be a moderator?

I think that GalaxyGUI is one of the best communities out there, and I love to be able to give a helping hand in other ways since I cannot donate due to my current situation.

2. Do you have any previous experience.

I have been moderating and administrating forums for several years now, most of these sites were eventually cancelled due to the topic of the forums became out-of-date. I have worked with phpBB the most in all of it. About 4 years combined experience with phpBB.

I really love Galaxy GUI and his ambience! I want to make something usefull for it. Help people always was my strong point! I'm a very active member here. I visit the forum board at least to two or three times a day.

I built and headed a portuguese forum board a while ago. I think that I don't need more reasons to justify my experience in forum's coordination.

1. I want to be moderator because i love this place and want to help with my share. This site has sooo much pontential and is growing constantly. I would love to help build this community and make the forums a better place.

2. I have much experience with forums. I am a board of director at visualize forums owner of sports maniacs and moderator of techno heads. I was also a moderator at another forum but it was shut down by the owner who had no more time. I have worked with lots of IPB boards. One AEF for a little and one vbulliten for a short time.

Who ever u pick i am sure will be the right person who help this communtiy grow and become an ever better place then it is. I would like to wish luck to everbody and thank the staff for giveing us members the chance to help out.

Moderator OS : Windows XP

1. Why do you want to be a moderator?

I would like to be a moderator here at Galaxy GUI because I feel this is great community with some great people. The site is growing and with it growing more people come to the site. With that happening you are bound to get people who don't follow the rules. And the job of a Moderator is to "police" the forums and keep things running smoothly so the Admin don't have to. Plus I'm on the computer constantly, and I only work 4 days a week.

2. Do you have any previous experience?

Yes I do, I have moderated on 2 forums before. One site which has 50K+ members, and the other a GFX based forum where I moderated and helped with a future skin before the project was brought to a stop. I can give links to these sites if you would like, I just didn't want to advertise.
I mainly worked with vBulletin but I am an quick learner.

Thanks for posting this thread, I know the staff will pick the right people, but you know...I hope one of them is me wink

1. Why do you want to be a moderator?
I wanna be moderator at Galaxy Gui because i wanna people in all the ways i can and a great way to show my self to the people here that i don't know, and now with the new look i bet more people will be joining and there would need to be more mod's happy

and to try my best to see the site at it highest.

I do not have any previous experience :/
