New iPod Nanos, iTunes 08, and iPod Touch.

So, Keynote finished a little earlier. We have new iPod Nanos "Nano-chromatic." Small cosmetic changes and firmware update for iPod Touch, and iTunes 08 featuring the "Genius toolbar."

I will have to see them in action to compare them to the past iPod nanos. They do look quite nice. I think the wide range of colours is great. I didn't like the look of it when I seen the Kevin Rose pics, but now I've seen the official they don't look that bad. To me, the iTouch looks exactly the same with 1 or 2 tiny differences, but I'm not an expert and it has probably been reprogrammed or something to improve it. I take it the next keynote will have the new macs in. wink

Unless iTunes 8.0 has some serious speed/stability upgrades I'm gonna stay on 7.7. Genius functionality isn't enough to make me when I have last.fm.

yay im glad they went back to the original shape of the nanos.. i hated those lil short fat bastards they had just before!! now i'd actually condider getting a nano.. oh it also does cover flow and side view.. nice... but the new touch looks pretty sexy tongue

iTunes 8 - no need for the 8. could have been another .x upgrade since genius and grid view are the only new things

however, the bright side of this is that the touch is cheaper, and has a SPEAKER. planning on buying one soon happy

all you do is click the resize corner, to go from mimi-mini to regular-mini (and vice-versa)

chekkz, the bug is that there are two resizers

started with 10.5.1 for the installation.. .then used kaly's update for .2 & .3 and then apple auto update for .4 / all without any problems smile
