Which graphic format will view the same with the Mac and with the PC platforms?
Use a GIF type for transparent backgrounds and anything with a small range of colors, while the JPEG type should be used for pictures/photos?
PNG files are the original image files and should be saved for future edits. ?
Typically an optimized image's file size can be reduced by 50%-75% without adversely affecting the image viewing quality.?
Which graphic format uses full 16 bit color instead of 8 bits, is streamable, and has an additional channel that makes it capable of use with photos as well as drawings and can designate one color as transparent?

Image formats have no difference between PC & Mac, everything's the same.
I went from a PC to Mac some time ago.
