So yeah, my PC broke a while ago, and after spending hours on the phone to: PC world, The Tech Guys and Acer, I finally got an engineer out to fix it.............
.........Some time later.........
I've now (in the past few weeks) had 4 visits from engineers, and my PC is still messed up. So far It's had: 2 New mother boards, A new HDD, Been tested with about 10 other HDD's, SATA Cables replaced, Clips on the DVD drive replaced.
And it's still broken.
So, now on Wednesday, yet another engineer, is coming round to replace:
The HDD, Motherboard, Processor, DVD Drive, And just about every cable in the damn thing.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So, I'm working on our new downstairs PC, and by new I mean, the one My Dad's work gave him to replace the original. (And by gave I mean, the spare one the Tech's stole from his office.) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
But, there did seem to be silver lining under this huge, awful giant grey raining, thundering cloud. I got my New monitor!!! I shall now be at 1440x900 X2 by the time my PC is up and running again. The monitor took like 2 days to get here, and arrived with no fuss.
BUT......
All the colours are messed up, and I'm having weird problems with the screen. So, I changed the VGA cable 3 times, and the power cable, and messed with the config settings, and its still messed up. AND on top of this, the other day (on my downstairs PC I was testing it on) I had these strange faint white blotches appear and move across the screen. *Kind of like if you press your finger on the screen of a calculator (if you get me.)
So, I went over to my friends house, and tried it on his PC. SAME PROBLEM!!!!!!!
Any one have a bridge I can borrow? To throw my self off of??

How many mirrors have you broken?
Sounds crappy. I wouldn't have that much patience.
I'djust buy a new pc.

I'djust buy a new pc. I'd agree, but I don't have the cash at hand.

lol, yep it sucks. I'd like a new one, but "The Tech Guys" just seem to replace parts, rather than the whole thing. Its messed up, but the full money back is only available for 28 days, and it started to break way after that.
